Time Intentional by Alyssa Towns — Stop Waiting, Start Living
A newsletter about living intentionally — because life is too short to wait until retirement
Most of us are quietly waiting. Waiting for the weekend, the next vacation, or retirement. Waiting for "someday" when we'll finally have the time to slow down and live the life we actually want. I spent many years believing that I needed to meet societal expectations, work hard now, and enjoy life in retirement later.
Time Intentional exists to challenge that waiting.
My paternal grandmother and grandfather passed away at 62 and 66, respectively. A few years later, my maternal grandfather passed away at 64, just shortly after he retired, from esophageal cancer. Losing them fundamentally changed how I think about my life and time, for the better.
Rooted in the belief that time is finite and precious, Time Intentional is a space to reflect, recalibrate, and make more deliberate choices about how you spend your days. Each issue brings you honest reflections, practical ideas, and gentle nudges toward building a life that feels deeply intentional and meaningful.
If you've ever felt like you're moving fast but not necessarily toward something that matters to you, you're in the right place.
