Practical, personal, and fun in-person sessions that ensure attendees feel heard, seen, and learn something new. I also led two roundtable sessions at Workshop's inaugural BrightSide conference in 2024 and a Coffee & Comms session with IABC Colorado in 2026. I love creating delightful in-person experiences.

Frequently asked questions
I provide strategic and hands-on support across internal communications, including employee newsletters, internal email strategy, organizational announcements, leadership messaging, change communications, and engagement-focused content. I can work across multiple communication channels (email, chat apps, intranets, long-form documentation, meetings, and more). Through the support I provide, I help companies build clearer, more human-centered communication practices, whether for a single project or ongoing partnership.
I've worked primarily with small-to mid-size businesses over the last few years for freelance writing needs. That includes companies with less than 100 employees, all the way up to growing organizations with nearly 1,000 employees.
Additionally, most of my experience in internal communication comes from small organizations and early-stage environments where communication needs to be fast, flexible, and scalable. I understand the unique challenges of internal comms when roles are fluid, priorities shift quickly, and teams rely on clarity to stay aligned.
I'm less concerned about the size of your organization and want to ensure are working styles are a good match.
Totally! I can provide structure, templates, workflows, and messaging support so your team can stay focused on their core work while communication becomes more consistent and effective. I worked closely with operations and HR when I worked in-house.
While I try to work on one-off freelance writing assignments that sound interesting, fun to work on, and a good match for me, my availability for these depends on my current workload. Since most of my clients work with me long-term, I have limited space for ad hoc projects. (And, if you work with me long-term, you get a discount!)
